Into

As an artist, I am constantly striving to expand my skills and push my creative boundaries. My passion lies in crafting immersive 3D environments and props, and to further develop my expertise, I’ve enrolled in Stylized Station’s Environment Bootcamp. This is the second iteration of their program, and I chose it specifically because it integrates the latest advancements in Unreal Engine 5 giving me the opportunity to refine my workflow with cutting-edge tools.

Progress Check

So far, this is just a layout of some of the assets I’ve created. This project has challenged me to learn and work with familiar tools like Autodesk Maya and Substance Painter while also trying some new ones, such as Substance Designer and TreeIt. Additionally, Unreal Engine 5 and ZBrush have pushed me past my limits, helping me grow into a stronger 3D artist.

It has definitely taken time, and despite some setbacks, I’ve made it this far. Aside from the lighting, which features Good Sky from the Unreal Marketplace, everything else from the materials to the cliffs is entirely my creation. This project hasn’t been easy by any means, but it has taught me invaluable skills in Unreal Engine, from working with virtual world textures to troubleshooting complex technical issues.

I’m excited to see how the rest of this project unfolds and can’t wait to share the final result!
